Check-in is at 3:00pm/Check-out is 11:00am. Please do not pre-park at your unit so that housekeeping may complete their work. Late check-ins are arranged with the Gift Shop with instructions for after-hours check-ins.
Your rate is guaranteed upon making a reservation.
A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is required. The amount of the deposit is 100% of the first night's stay PER UNIT. The balance due will automatically be charged to the credit card on file, 24-hours prior to check-in. If payment was made via PayPal, we will contact the guest for credit card information. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. Group reservations require special attention and are referred to the Groups Manager for bookings and deposits.
PAYING VIA PAY PAL:
When you pay for your reservation using a PayPal account, we require a valid credit card to be on file.
We will call you within 24-hours of you making your reservation for the credit card number.
All active military, emergency services, and law enforcement officers receive a 10% discount.
There are no discounts for multiple night stays, AAA, senior citizens, etc.
For all cancellations, your deposit, that is NON-REFUNDABLE will be retained by the lodge. If the reservation has been paid-in-full, we reserve the right to keep the first night's deposit and refund the balance back to the credit card on file that was originally used for payment. If the reservation was paid using Pay Pal, a business check will
be issued for the remaining balance as any credit card information that is received after the initial payment, is used only for balances due or any occurring damages. Group reservations require special attention.
MAKING CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS:
Changes to reservations may be made up to 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CHECK-IN DATE. The first night's deposit is
still NON REFUNDABLE, but, we do offer CREDIT VOUCHERS (valid through 2023) if the reservation needs to
Due to safety issues and the privacy of our guests, each unit has a specific occupancy limitation. If you are reserving with us, it is required that you list all guests who will occupy the unit. OUTSIDE GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED. They are welcomed to reserve additional units if available. Also, items such as cribs, air mattresses,
and sleeping bags are not allowed due to occupancy and safety restrictions.
As a guest of the Santa Rita Lodge, parking is FREE while you are staying with us. You will be issued a brightly colored parking pass that will sit on your dashboard for the duration of your stay. This indicates that you are our guest. Only one vehicle per parking space at each unit. For any extra vehicles please inform the gift shop for parking arrangements. Once you have checked out of your unit, you will need to move out of the unit's parking space. You may park at the gift shop once you have checked out, but, you may not park and leave your vehicle
to go hike, etc.
MADERA CANYON PARKING:
All parking areas within Madera Canyon require an $8 per DAY PARKING PASS or a $10 per WEEK PARKING PASS that is payable at each parking location. CASH ONLY. For single-day parking, payment envelopes are located at each of the canyon's trailhead parking areas. Park facilities honor the National Park's Golden Eagle Passport, Golden Age Passport, and Golden Access Passport. The Coronado National Forest Recreational ANNUAL PARKING PASS may be purchased in our Gift Shop for $40. This pass is also valid at other locations such as Mt. Lemmon, Sabino Canyon, Peña Blanca Lake, and others.
CELLPHONE/INTERNET/WIFI: WE DO NOT GUARANTEE RELIABLE SERVICE
You may attempt to get a signal as passwords are listed inside of each unit. SERVICE IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. VIDEO/AUDIO STREAMING IS PROHIBITED. A signal can usually be obtained in the PROCTOR AREA at the entrance to the canyon or at the top of PARKING AREA. Please don't plan on doing major work while visiting us. This is out of our control due to the lack of population in the canyon. Thank you for understanding.
Only local channels are available, there is no cable. The gift shop has a DVD library, free of charge for our guests
to borrow during their stay.
NO SMOKING POLICY:
Due to the delicate nature of the environment and bird population, the Santa Rita Lodge is a strict NO SMOKING PROPERTY. This includes all forms of smoking items. A minimum fine of $250 will be issued if evidence of smoking is found and documented.
There is no daily housekeeping/maid service. We do offer a refresh for longer stays of five days or more.
Ice is provided for guest use only, not to fill coolers.
The gift shop sells snacks and drinks only. There are no restaurants, gas stations, or convenience stores in
Madera Canyon. Please plan to bring your own food and supplies such as charcoal, matches, flashlights, etc.
Each unit is equipped with towels, linens, and kitchen supplies (dishes, glasses, silverware, etc.)
The closest town for shopping is Green Valley off of I-19. There is a Safeway shopping center at the
Continental exit which is the one used to go to Madera Canyon.
Each unit is supplied with a mini Weber type of charcoal grill which is located on the cemented front porch.
Please use charcoal only, no wood burning. Grilling may not be allowed if fire restrictions are in place.
Do not remove the grill from the front porch to any other location on the property, including the back porches
of the cabins or the deck at the casitas. Do not leave any fire unattended at any time. Thank you.
Flush only human waste and toilet paper. Do not flush sanitary products. SHOWERS ONLY. NO BATHS.
Please conserve our precious water supply.
Due to our lodge's insurance policy, pets of any kind, are NOT PERMITTED in the units at any time.
Service animals (emotional support is not a service animal) must be registered at the time of your reservation.
The gift shop can provide the necessary form. If a non-disclosed service animal is found in the unit, you will be asked to leave without a refund.
Please do not feed or encourage wildlife by leaving any type of food, cooler, or trash outside. Individual bird feeders are available by asking in the gift shop. If you leave a feeder out at night, it most likely will be empty in the morning due to the bats.
We ask all guests to respect each other and observe quiet time from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. We want provide
a peaceful environment for all to enjoy. Guests violating this policy will be asked to leave with no refund.
Please do not remove any kitchen/furniture Items from your unit. Inventory will be taken and charges will be assessed for missing and/or exceptional breakage or other damage. This includes, but, is not limited to damages
to bedding, linens, curtains, furniture, floors, walls, etc. This includes spills, stains, and dirt. The credit card on file will be charged for damages.
The units are equipped with Fire Extinguishers and Smoke Alarms. DO NOT DISCONNECT.
Santa Rita Lodge owner, Steve Holt lives in the cabin across the street from the lodge. If he is needed, walk over
to the gate and knock on his door. Otherwise, call 911.
We do our best to accommodate the needs of all of our valued guests. Therefore, the Santa Rita Lodge reserves
the right to modify or change our policies without notice. Please contact us with any questions you may have at least 48-hours prior to your arrival.
